ABQ

The Association of Biologists of Quebec (ABQ) is a professional organization representing more than 1,000 members in the life sciences. It supports biologists and people pursuing careers in biology, while promoting professional recognition, continuing education, ethical practice, and a strong community of peers. The association provides information on membership, career paths, professional status, and the contribution of biologists across fields ranging from molecular biology to ecosystems.

ABQ offers members services and benefits including networking, a membership seal, digital signature services, insurance, and access to professional development. Its training program includes online courses, live webinars, field training, and information activities, complemented by an annual congress and other events. The association also shares news, media coverage, public statements, reports, and professional resources.

For people seeking biological expertise, ABQ provides a free service to circulate requests for consultations, conferences, or other needs to its members. Employers can also submit relevant job and internship opportunities for distribution.
