Abqsp

The Associação Brasileira de Química – Seção Regional de São Paulo (ABQ-SP) is a prominent organization dedicated to promoting the study and appreciation of chemistry in the state of São Paulo. Established to facilitate scientific dissemination, the ABQ-SP plays a pivotal role in educational initiatives, most notably through the annual Olimpíada de Química do Estado de São Paulo (OQSP). This competition invites high school students and talented elementary students from both public and private schools to engage in thought-provoking discussions with their essays on topics like “Chemistry in Combating Fake News.”

In addition to hosting the OQSP, ABQ-SP will hold significant events such as the 63rd Congresso Brasileiro de Química and workshops like the Encontro de Usuários de Software MassHunter. The organization also actively participates in community outreach, facilitating campaigns to support those in need. Through various activities and collaborations, ABQ-SP continually fosters a vibrant chemistry community, encouraging students and educators to contribute to the field's advancement and public understanding.
