Brand New Day ABA

A Brand New Day ABA provides Applied Behavior Analysis services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral disorders in Connecticut. Serving children up to age 21, the organization offers individualized programs designed to promote independence, well-being, and quality of life. Its services include assessments, life skills training, social skills development, and strategies to increase positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.

Families can choose in-home care, where support and parent training can be incorporated into sessions, or clinic-based care in Southington. The clinic offers half-day or full-day sessions for focused learning and opportunities for social play with peers; parent training is scheduled separately. Programs are developed around each child’s and family’s needs, using a range of assessment tools and approaches, including the PEAK curriculum. Clinic team members work under the direction of a licensed clinician and are Registered Behavior Technicians or working toward certification. A Brand New Day ABA also helps families navigate the insurance process and guides them from initial contact and assessment through the start of customized services.
