Abus Aînés Mauricie

Table Action Abus Aînés Mauricie (TAAAM) is a community organization based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, with more than 30 years of experience addressing abuse and intimidation affecting older adults. Working across the Mauricie region, it brings together individuals and organizations concerned with seniors’ rights and the wellbeing of older people and those who may be vulnerable. TAAAM develops projects, collaborates with community partners, and promotes both the prevention of mistreatment and the practice of respectful, supportive care.

Its services include training workshops, conferences, discussion sessions, and public events that combine learning and community engagement. The organization also shares information through its Clic Aînés journal and offers resources focused on ageism and the challenges of aging, including an ageism-awareness calendar and the Face aux défis du grand âge board game. Its Un toit pour soi guide addresses living environments for older adults. TAAAM welcomes individuals and organizations interested in supporting its work to become members.
