The Aichi Chamber Orchestra (ACO) is a vibrant ensemble established in 2002, originating from young musicians at the Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts. As the only professional chamber orchestra in the Tokai region, ACO is dedicated to enhancing local cultural and artistic activities, providing diverse musical experiences for audiences of all ages. They host regular performances, including family-friendly concerts and outreach programs in schools, aiming to foster a love for music and support the community's cultural development.

Under the baton of esteemed conductors like Kazufumi Yamashita and Keitaro Harada, ACO continues to push creative boundaries with innovative programming. Their collaborations with renowned artists and composers lead to significant works, such as the award-winning piece "Toki to Eien o Musubu Itaru" by Atsuhiko Gondai, their first Composer-in-Residence. With a commitment to excellence, ACO also actively releases recordings and engages in various artistic initiatives, contributing richly to Japan’s orchestral scene.
