Academia do Mar Surf School is a water sports school based in Espinho, Portugal, located about 20 metres from the beach. Its friendly team has more than 25 years of experience in surfing and bodyboarding, along with professional training. The school offers surf lessons throughout the year, with class packs for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers, and competitors.

Lessons are usually held at Praia da Baía, with beginner sessions scheduled around low tide to help keep learning conditions safe. The academy also offers advanced surf clinics focused on progression, as well as surf days and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) tours on the Arda River, a nature-based activity suitable for all ages. For those who already have some surfing experience, equipment is available to rent, including surfboards, wetsuits, SUP equipment, bodyboards and skateboards.
