Academia Raíz Taekwon-Do ITF

Academia Raíz is a family-focused Taekwon-Do ITF academy in southern Cali, Colombia, led by Master Felipe Díaz Cardona, a VII Dan and international ITF instructor. With 19 years of experience, the academy emphasizes personal development, discipline, and respect rather than competition, guiding students through the ITF values of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. Classes welcome children from age four, young people, adults, and beginners over 35, with groups and schedules designed for different ages and experience levels.

Families can train together, and children’s programs are supported by a team of instructors and monitors. Alongside Taekwon-Do, the academy offers Pilates for mothers, Jiu Jitsu, self-defense, strengthening, and physical conditioning. Monthly plans are available for different training frequencies, with discounts for siblings and families; pricing is discussed directly.

The academy also provides a welcoming space for parents to work while their children train. Its approach aims to help students build focus, confidence, discipline, and habits that carry into everyday life
