Academia Showa is a fitness and swimming school with more than three decades of experience serving São Paulo’s South Zone. Originally focused on teaching and developing aquatic skills, it has expanded its offering to support health, wellbeing, and active living across different ages and ability levels. Its swimming program uses a long-established teaching method, with students grouped by age and learning stage to enable personalized instruction and progress. The five listed units feature heated, semi-Olympic pools, and the academies emphasize a welcoming, family-friendly environment, attentive professionals, and safe equipment.

Members can choose from swimming, water aerobics, aquabike, Pilates, weight training, and functional training. The program is intended for children, adults, and beginners as well as more experienced participants, with instructors mindful of individual needs and limitations. Academia Showa also invites prospective members to contact its team for tailored information. In addition to classes, it accepts inquiries about employment and the rental of pools and event spaces.
