Libyan.Academy

The Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies is a higher education institution based in Tripoli, Libya, dedicated to advanced study, research, and academic development. Founded in 1988 as the Institute of Graduate Studies in Economic Sciences, it began teaching in 1989 with programs in accounting, management and organization, and economics. The institution later became the Academy of Graduate Studies and expanded its academic scope and schools.

The Academy offers postgraduate programs leading to higher diplomas, master’s degrees, and doctorates across a broad range of disciplines. Its schools cover administrative and financial sciences, applied and engineering sciences, basic sciences, humanities, languages, law, media and arts, medical sciences, and strategic and international studies. It also provides professional diplomas and electronic services for students and staff.

Research and academic resources include scientific journals, publications, a digital repository, and a digital library. Supporting activities are delivered through research and consultancy centers, innovation initiatives, e-learning and distance education, international cooperation, and community service.
