The Academy of Emergency Medicine is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that was founded in 2014 in Slovakia. With a focus on emergency medicine, tactical and combat medicine, and pre-hospital healthcare, we provide a range of services and support. As an NGO, we offer humanitarian aid and education, as well as training and assistance in the field of emergency medicine.
Our team closely collaborates with the international humanitarian community, civilian and military medical personnel, and coalition security and armed forces. We adhere to the highest international medical standards and procedures, while also respecting the humanitarian law and local customs. Led by our experienced team members, such as Oliver Valentovič, Chairman and Humanitarian Aid Manager, and Matej Karlák, Deputy Chairman and Professional Development Manager, we strive to ensure the best possible care and support in emergency situations
