Acadigia is a brand that focuses on accelerating the digital readiness of Polytechnic higher education institutions. Their main objective is to promote the sustainable adoption of more online and blended approaches in education. Acadigia aims to provide not only tools and resources but also an innovative mentoring scheme to generate intra-institutional teams of educational practitioners.

These teams will work towards reinventing their pedagogies and implementing more online and blended approaches. To achieve this, Acadigia has developed a three-part project structure. The first part, called the Compendium of Augmented Blended Teaching, focuses on creating guiding materials that enable a fast introduction and usage of tools for blended methods in Polytechnic HEIs.

This will allow these institutions to reinvent their role and grasp the use of the most recent open pedagogic tools. The second part, Training the Mentors, dives into team formation and capacity building actions. It directly trains teaching staff in the Polytechnics, enabling them to become mentors and ambassadors for the blended approaches.

They will constantly develop and follow the latest cutting-edge technological tools, using them with pedagogical added value. The third part, Bringing Acadigia to Life, ensures that the ACADIGIA methodology flourishes within the institutions' strategic policy lines. These Polytechnic HEIs will have a team of mentored educators-ambassadors of the blended approaches, operating in peer-support groups.
