ACA Oregon

ACA Oregon is a community resource for Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA), a fellowship for people affected by growing up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional households. Its website introduces the shared experiences members may recognize, describes ACA’s approach to healing, and presents the fellowship’s promises, steps, and related practices. The emphasis is on finding a safe setting to express past hurts and fears, release shame and blame, and develop self-acceptance and self-esteem.

ACA Oregon helps people connect with local support through meeting information, an event calendar, intergroup gatherings, and guidance for starting a meeting. The site also provides meeting formats, literature, service opportunities, safety resources, prayers and affirmations, and links to additional ACA materials and the wider AdultChildren.org community. Members can find information about sponsorship and fellowship, learn about ACA founder Tony A., and explore ways to participate in service.
