About ACARF
ACARF, the Associação Social Cultural Artística e Recreativa de Forjães, is a community-focused social, cultural, artistic and recreational association. Its website presents a range of services and activities intended to support people and families in the Forjães community. The organisation operates a social centre that includes a crèche, after-school care (AAAF), a children and youth activities centre (CATL), a day centre and a social gathering centre. These services span early childhood care, support for school-age children and opportunities for social connection and assistance for adults.
ACARF also publishes O Forjanense, with current and archived editions available, and shares information about its mission, vision, values, governing bodies, annual accounts and statutes. The site features a gallery and timeline, alongside contact details and information about registrations and partnerships. Together, its care services, community activities and local publication reflect ACARF’s broad role in social support and civic life.
