About Conservación Amazónica
Conservación Amazónica—ACCA is an organization dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the Amazon Basin. With a mission to protect the unique biodiversity and habitats of the region, ACCA works in collaboration with various strategic allies and a dedicated board of directors. ACCA operates in multiple locations, including the Wayqecha and Manu biological stations, as well as Los Amigos (CICRA).
These stations serve as centers for scientific research, education, and the identification of threats to the ecosystem. In addition to their scientific endeavors, ACCA also focuses on promoting sustainable livelihoods for local communities in the Amazon. They provide opportunities for tourists, researchers, volunteers, and students to engage with their work through courses, workshops, and visits to their biological stations.
