ACCADEMIA RADIX

Accademia Radix is a study and training space focused on women’s health, care traditions, and the histories of women who observed, researched, and passed on knowledge. It brings historical sources into conversation with their cultural context, female physiology, herbal and alchemical traditions, and contemporary understanding. Its approach emphasizes critical thinking: neither treating ancient practices as automatically valid nor assuming modern knowledge is complete.

The academy serves both health and wellness professionals and women seeking a deeper understanding of their bodies, plants, and care practices. Its central offering, Sapienti, is a year-long program designed to build a connected understanding of women’s health across the lifespan, from conception and childhood through fertility, motherhood, perimenopause, and menopause. The curriculum includes historical figures and sources, physiology, plants, fungi, preparations, and care practices, with attention to safety and responsible use. Sapienti comprises 12 recorded modules, 12 live monthly workshops, and access to an online campus with study materials. Through its programs, Accademia Radix aims to help learners assess, connect, and responsibly share knowledge.
