Accel World is a Japanese science-fiction anime franchise based on the light novels by Reki Kawahara, published by ASCII Media Works, an imprint of KADOKAWA. Its story follows Haruyuki, a bullied student whose life changes when Kuroyukihime, a celebrated and elegant schoolmate, gives him access to the power of acceleration. He becomes her knight and enters a high-speed world of battles and personal growth.
