ACCELERATE

ACCELERATE is a collaborative platform focused on speeding up innovation in the development of cancer treatments for children and adolescents. Its mission is to help research go further, faster by bringing stakeholders together to identify barriers and develop recommendations and solutions in a neutral, inclusive setting. The initiative addresses the gap between medicines approved for adults and their availability to young patients, as well as the continuing burden of treatment resistance and long-term health effects among childhood cancer survivors.

ACCELERATE advances its work through Paediatric Strategy Forums, an Annual Conference, working groups, workshops, and impact forums. Its activities also include child-first clinical trial initiatives, patient-reported outcomes, education, and engagement with policy and regulation. The platform shares resources, publications, annual reports, and updates on its projects, and works with partners across the field. ACCELERATE invites people to get involved, join its team, and support its mission. Through these programmes and collaborative efforts, it aims to encourage progress in paediatric oncology research and improve the path toward effective therapies for children and adolescents with cancer.
