About ACCESS Coalition
Founded in 2014, ACCESS Coalition is a global coalition of over 70 organizations dedicated to advocating for people living in poverty to have access to safe, reliable, and affordable energy. They also work towards the development of environmentally sustainable and efficient energy systems worldwide. The coalition consists of a range of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at the local, national, regional, and international levels.
ACCESS aims to strengthen the efforts of CSOs working to deliver universal energy access by advocating for transparent and inclusive multi-stakeholder participation in all stages of energy processes. They collaborate with donors and investors to build a better understanding of the energy needs of impoverished groups. Additionally, they support the capacity building of civil society actors and stakeholders, while also sharing best practices across their networks.
