About Access Bangladesh
Access Bangladesh Foundation is a non-political, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. Established in 2008, the foundation aims to shift societal perceptions of individuals with disabilities from charity recipients to self-reliant, contributing members of society. Through initiatives in education, employment, health, community empowerment, research, advocacy, and networking, Access Bangladesh Foundation endeavors to enable disabled individuals to lead dignified lives with self-respect.
By empowering disabled individuals to be self-reliant, the foundation also reduces financial burdens on families and society while transforming disabled individuals into valuable assets for the economy.
