Capital Area WD

Access NCWorks is a virtual information and support service from the Capital Area Workforce Development Board, helping job seekers in Wake, Johnston, Chatham, and Lee counties connect with NCWorks before visiting a career center. Through phone and online contact options, users can reach a career advisor for guidance as they prepare for employment and navigate available workforce services.

The service helps job seekers create resumes and cover letters, access training for in-demand jobs, connect with employers, find workshops, and use NCWorks Online. Its resources also cover job searching, employer and labor market research, job alerts, recruiting events, and career center services. Veterans can find information on employment services, priority of service, education and training, and related resources. Visitors can also access links to community support, unemployment insurance information, and training providers, then create an online profile to begin working with their local NCWorks Career Center. Access NCWorks serves as a practical starting point for finding guidance, resources, and connections that support the path toward employment.
