Accademia d'Armi Musumeci Greco 1878 is a historic fencing school based in Rome, regarded as one of the oldest fencing academies in the world. Since 1878, it has been known as a “temple” of fencing, bringing together the art and practice of the sport. The academy welcomes participants of all ages, with courses open to everyone from five years old and up, and no upper age limit.
Prospective students can request a free trial to experience fencing and learn from the academy’s instructors. Its activities extend beyond regular courses: the academy also offers opportunities to organise events and presents information about competitive results, news, and its “Scherma Senza Limiti” initiative. Through its “A Fil di Spada” programme and dedicated services for entertainment, it is also involved in shows, events, and workshops.
With information available about schedules, instructors, and locations, Musumeci Greco invites newcomers and experienced fencing enthusiasts alike to explore the discipline and its traditions
