About ACCU
ACCU, the Asia-Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO, was established in 1971 through collaboration between the Japanese government, the publishing industry, and private sectors, in response to UNESCO's call to enhance cultural exchange in the Asia-Pacific region. Committed to the idea that "peace is built on humanity's wisdom and spiritual connection," ACCU collaborates with UNESCO, international organizations, governments, industries, and communities to promote education, cultural cooperation, and sustainable societal development. At the core of ACCU's values is the "Joint Project Approach," where experts from various countries come together to develop high-quality books and educational materials, fostering cross-cultural understanding and mutual respect.
ACCU's activities focus on promoting regional uniqueness, collaboration, and cultural appreciation, embodying its core values of inclusivity and cooperation. Explore ACCU's impact by supporting our initiatives or participating in our programs
