About Alliance for Civic Engagement
The Alliance for Civic Engagement (ACE) is a nonpartisan public policy think tank dedicated to empowering informed, democratically engaged youth by offering unbiased policy resources to shape decisions and combat political polarization. Operating a national fellowship program, ACE's Student Policy Fellows collaborate to produce nonpartisan, accessible research briefs for publication across twelve policy areas — including Criminal Justice, Economic Policy, Education, Environmental Policy, Immigration, Public Health, Human Rights, and Technology — as well as research by region spanning every major part of the world. Research teams are led by ACE Research Associates — graduate students or highly qualified undergraduates with expertise in their field — committing 10 to 15 hours per week to their work.
The organization recently rebranded from the Alliance for Citizen Engagement to the Alliance for Civic Engagement, reflecting its sharpened focus on building the next generation of civic leaders who bridge the partisan divide through evidence-based, nonpartisan policy analysis
