About ACE in Future Energies & Electrochemical Systems
Welcome to ACE-FUELS, FUTO, Nigeria! ACE-FUELS, which stands for the African Center of Excellence in Future Energies and Electrochemical Systems, is located at the Federal University of Technology Owerri. This center was established to address the growing demand for education, skills, and information in renewable and clean energy sources in the region. ACE-FUELS focuses on four core disciplines: Clean and Future Energy, Electrochemical Systems, Nanotechnology, and Corrosion Technology.
Through research and development, knowledge sharing, community education, and capacity development, the center aims to bridge the gap in energy availability and access in the sub-region. Their programs include education, applied research, and short courses in nanotechnology, future energies, corrosion technology, and electrochemical technology. Soon, they will be accepting applications for their Executive Master of Science (MSc) programs.
