About Asociación de Comercializadores de Energía
Asociación de Comercializadores de Energía (ACE) is a Mexican organization established in 2017 to promote the competitiveness and benefits of natural gas and electricity markets in Mexico. They focus on Qualified Power Supply and the natural gas market. Their mission is to facilitate and support the implementation of the Energy Reform in Mexico, while eliminating market barriers and simplifying processes to ensure energy consumers enjoy lower prices.
With over 30 years of experience in the natural gas and electricity markets in the United States, ACE aims to contribute to the establishment and consolidation of these markets in Mexico. They recognize the efforts made in Mexico to redesign practices and regulatory frameworks in energy generation, transmission, transformation, distribution, and commercialization. However, they acknowledge that there is still much work to be done to improve the natural gas and electricity markets in Mexico.
