ACEPER is an Italian nonprofit association representing consumers and producers of renewable energy. It supports businesses and plant owners who have invested in clean energy, helping them navigate the technical, administrative, legal and financial challenges of operating renewable energy systems. The association reports more than 10,000 member production plants, representing over 2 GW of nominal capacity.
Through a nationwide network of supporting members and specialist professionals, ACEPER provides practical guidance and ongoing information in clear, accessible language. Its services include assistance with administrative procedures, such as customs requirements, regulatory compliance and plant documentation; tax and fiscal advice; and legal support in disputes involving insurers, the GSE and operations and maintenance providers. Members can also receive technical assistance, information about renewable energy incentives, and updates on national and European calls for grants or subsidised financing.
ACEPER’s work includes helping members check whether incentives and energy-production revenues have been correctly received, while sharing guidance on sector developments and plant management.
