With our Alternative Education Services, students receive so much more than an ordinary education. We pride ourselves on creating a unique, exciting environment that embraces all types of learners and promotes growth both academically and personally. The Attendance Service supports schools and students to manage and improve attendance. Attendance Services responds to any student who is (Non-Enrolled) or the student, (referred by the school) who is unjustified absent.

About ACES
Aces, an Alternative Education school based in Auckland, New Zealand, is dedicated to supporting students who have been alienated from mainstream education or schools. Whether it's a short-term or long-term intervention, Aces aims to re-engage students through a personalized and meaningful learning program tailored to their individual needs. The ultimate goal is to help students reintegrate into a mainstream school or pursue further education or training.
This alternative education caters to students aged 13 and above who meet certain eligibility criteria. These criteria include being out of a registered school for two terms or more, being excluded from local schools with a history of disciplinary actions, having dropped out of Te Kura, or being absent for a significant portion of the last 20 school weeks for reasons other than illness. Additionally, students with multiple suspensions and those for whom alternative education is deemed the best option by the school can also benefit from Aces.
ACES is managed by Mount Albert Grammar School and contracted by the Ministry of Education. They work with an AE Provider to ensure the AE Program fulfills the students' educational, social, and well-being needs. Aces also offers dual enrollment, where enrolled students maintain educational and pastoral responsibility with Aces while attending their school.
