About Asian Community Engagement Trust
Welcome to the Asian Community Engagement Trust (ACET), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging among Asian migrants in New Zealand. Our mission is to actively engage and contribute to the local community while helping recent Asian migrants make New Zealand their home. We believe that by taking positive actions, we can bring about meaningful change.
At ACET, we offer a range of programmes designed to satisfy community needs and foster connections. Our Employment Support Programme equips job seekers with the necessary skills and knowledge to compete in the New Zealand job market, while our Youth Development Programme provides young people with personalized trainings to improve their wellbeing and develop a sense of belonging. We also focus on creating a sustainable community by cultivating environmental awareness and promoting a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore, ACET organizes various events throughout the year, including a Badminton Fun Day and Women's Boxing Workout, which aim to strengthen family bonds, make new friends, and promote community engagement.
