AcetSR

ACET SR is a Slovak civic association dedicated to educating and supporting young people through primary prevention and practical learning. Active in Slovakia since 1996, the organisation works with primary and secondary schools, teachers, parents and communities. Its lectures address sexually transmitted infections, addiction, bullying and violence, as well as relationships, marriage and parenting. ACET SR reaches more than 2,500 students each year and offers schools the opportunity to request presentations led by its educators.

The organisation combines expert guidance with discussion, personal stories and interactive activities to help participants recognise risks, make informed decisions and know where to seek support. Its approach is grounded in love, hope and acceptance: creating a respectful, non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication, responsibility and personal growth rather than fear or moralising.

ACET SR is part of an international movement whose independent programmes operate in more than 20 countries. The wider ACET Alliance works on HIV prevention and supports people affected by HIV/AIDS and AIDS orphans.
