A.C.H.A. (Asociación Criadores de Holando Argentino) is an Argentine breeders’ association focused on improving the Holando breed and developing dairy production. It supports dairy farmers with technical information, practical tools and technology updates intended to improve efficiency and production. Through Official Dairy Production Control entities, the association covers Argentina’s dairy regions and administers production monitoring for dairy breeds and species, helping farms collect and use herd performance data.
Its services include official milk recording, type classification and calf registration. Type classification evaluates cows’ conformation and traits related to health, regular calving and productive longevity. The calf registry provides a unique identification number for eligible non-pedigree females participating in official production control, supporting traceability. A.C.H.A. also publishes genetic evaluations for Holando sires, covering production and type, and lists genomic evaluations among its resources.
The association provides information on reproductive stock, Holando beef topics, industry news, and calendars of livestock exhibitions and sales. It publishes the magazine Nuestro Holando and offers membership information, institutional resources and association regulations.
