About Julius Achon
Achon Uganda Children's Fund (AUCF) is a non-profit organization based in Portland, OR, dedicated to improving the lives of children in Uganda. With a strong focus on healthcare, education, and opportunities, AUCF has been making a significant impact since its establishment in 2010. One of the notable programs of AUCF is the Kristina Health Center, providing primary healthcare to the community.
The center offers consultation, treatment, counseling, and immunizations. It also houses an isolation unit for COVID-19 patients, with well-trained staff and necessary equipment. Additionally, AUCF runs Cents For Seeds, a program aimed at empowering women by providing resources and education on nutrition, exercise, and healthy habits.
AUCF's journey has seen various achievements, including the construction of a maternity facility, the expansion of the Kristina Health Center, and the implementation of outreach programs. The organization relies on the support of generous donors worldwide to continue its impactful work.
