AcLTI

AcLTI (Associazione contro le Leucemie e i Tumori nell’Infanzia) is a nonprofit association based in Naples, supporting children affected by leukemia and cancer and their families. It works closely with the pediatric oncology department at A.O.R.N. Santobono-Pausilipon, helping strengthen care for young patients in Naples and Campania.

The association provides emotional, psychological and, in some cases, financial support to children and families. Its free professional psychological support service is available to families who seek assistance after experiencing illness. AcLTI also funds medical equipment for the hospital department, awards scholarships to medical staff, and organizes summer stays for young patients and their mothers. Its projects, trips and events promote solidarity with children facing cancer.

AcLTI recruits and prepares volunteers through its “Un pezzo di strada” program, emphasizing listening, welcome, training and generosity. The association invites the public to contribute through donations, Italy’s 5×1000 tax allocation, fundraising initiatives and volunteer work. Its broader mission is to help ensure children receive timely, specialized care and sustained support throughout treatment.
