Associação Caxiense de Montanhismo is a community organization dedicated to promoting mountaineering and climbing in Caxias do Sul and the Serra Gaúcha. It encourages safe practice, ethical conduct in the mountains, and responsible access to natural areas. The association supports both experienced climbers and people interested in getting started, offering a place to learn, share knowledge, and connect with the local outdoor community.

Its activities include courses, group outings, maintenance of climbing areas, and environmental education. The association also provides climbing guides and information through its Croquiteca, featuring locations in the region and links to guides from other areas. Members and visitors can explore technical articles, trip reports, interviews, route catalogs, maps, statistics, and information about climbing gyms and competitions. The organization also shares news about regional bouldering events and mountaineering initiatives, alongside guidance on reducing environmental impact through Leave No Trace principles. Through membership, educational resources, events, and partnerships, Associação Caxiense de Montanhismo works to strengthen mountaineering at local, state, national, and international levels.
