About Aid To The Church In Need
Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) is Ireland's leading charity dedicated to protecting the rights of Christians and providing support for the suffering and persecuted Church. Through our organization, we fund over 5,000 projects in more than 140 countries worldwide, helping to empower the Church and provide hope and solidarity to millions of people. Our projects, ranging from building churches to providing catechetical books and emergency aid, are carried out by the local Church in the countries we support.
With no public funding, our projects are made possible by generous donations from individuals. From Iraq and Syria to India and North Korea, we work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of those in need. Every year, we fund thousands of construction projects, including homes, schools, hospitals, and churches.
