About The American College of Pediatricians
The American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) is a U.S. medical organization focused on children’s health and well-being. It describes its work as promoting evidence-based, biologically grounded, child-centered pediatric care, while addressing family issues and medical ethics. The organization shares information and guidance with parents, physicians, policymakers, schools, and the public through position statements, research papers, videos, audio resources, newsletters, and press releases. Its materials cover pediatric health, family support, biological integrity, parental involvement in children’s medical decisions, and the conscience rights of health care professionals.
ACPeds also supports pediatricians through membership, professional resources, and initiatives intended to encourage evidence-based care. Its activities include publishing papers, preparing amicus briefs, providing expert testimony, and offering medical resources for parents and physicians. The organization invites people to attend events, sign declarations, get involved, and support its work through donations. ACPeds reports that its pediatricians are located in 47 U.S. states and five countries, and provides links to resources for parents, doctors, donors, and media.
