ACP MEAs is a renowned brand that specializes in strengthening environmental governance and supporting Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) in the Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) regions. This joint partnership between the European Union, the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) aims to build the capacity of 79 countries in fulfilling their obligations as parties to MEAs. They focus on environmental governance, improving enforcement and compliance with MEAs, enhancing ocean governance, and mainstreaming biodiversity and sound management of chemicals and waste in agriculture.
