Acres of Hope Ranch is a healing retreat and sanctuary in Longmont, Colorado, where rescue animals help people find connection, support, and renewed hope. Founded by Tony and Heather after they experienced close family bereavements, the ranch grew from a belief that no one should have to carry pain alone. Its programs serve at-risk youth, adults in recovery, people with disabilities, and first responder families.
Visitors can take part in self-guided retreats, group retreats, and day visits, with experiences shaped to honor individual needs. Through genuine, welcoming interactions with horses and other rescued animals, participants have space to pause, build emotional well-being, and explore personal growth without having to explain or prove themselves. The ranch emphasizes presence and acceptance, including for people who may feel judged or overlooked.
All programs are offered free of charge and are sustained by volunteers, donors, and faith. Acres of Hope Ranch also welcomes volunteers and donations to support its animals and mission. The sanctuary is seeking a new home to keep its animals safe.
