About Across the Board
Across the Board is a community support organisation established in 2024 to continue providing support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It was founded after the closure of its department within a children’s charity in Norfolk. The organisation’s experienced team specialises in working with neurodiverse individuals and young people with complex needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD and other challenges.
Across the Board offers community support to help young people build confidence and feel included. Its Moving On Support service focuses on helping them transition towards greater independence and wellbeing. These services are guided by the organisation’s aim to help children and young people better understand their world, develop independence and improve their overall wellbeing.
