Acro Trip is the official brand for the 2024 television anime adapted from Yone Sawata’s manga, published by Shueisha under its Ribon Mascot Comics imprint. The series follows Chizuko Date, a reserved middle-school student who becomes captivated by Berry Blossom, the magical girl protecting her town. Frustrated by the unimpressive challenges posed by the villainous organization Fossa Magna, Chizuko finds herself drawn into the world of evil, hoping to make her beloved heroine shine brighter.
The story blends magical-girl action with comedy and follows Chizuko, Fossa Magna leader Chroma, Berry Blossom, and their allies. The anime features direction by Ayumu Kotake, animation by Voil, and music by TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND. Its opening theme, “Flagrum,” is performed by Inori Minase, who also voices Berry Blossom; the ending theme is “Reversible Baby” by KanoeRana.
