ACSIL, or Amputees and Carers Support in Liverpool and all areas of Merseyside, is a community support organisation serving people affected by amputation across Liverpool and Merseyside. Working from its offices in Everton, the group supports people who are already amputees, those for whom an amputation may be necessary, and their families, partners and carers. Its services are free and confidential, offering a point of support for individuals and those close to them as they navigate the impact of amputation.
ACSIL also invites people to get involved in its work through volunteering, organising fundraising events, leaving a legacy or making a charitable donation. The organisation relies heavily on fundraising and donations to support its activities, and directs prospective donors to its JustGiving page. Through its services and opportunities to contribute, ACSIL aims to help amputees and carers in the local community.
Its website also shares news and events, introduces members, and provides information about the organisation and its work
