Tramiti (TRAduttrici e traduttori Multimediali ITalianI) è una realtà che raggruppa chi traduce sottotitoli e altri testi multimediali principalmente in lingua italiana, ma accoglie anche chi sta ancora studiando o è alle prime armi. È nata come sezione di @actainrete, l'Associazione Consulenti Terziario Avanzato che dal 2004 lotta per il riconoscimento dei diritti di tutte le persone che lavorano come freelancer.

About Tramiti
ACTA is an Italian association and trade union for freelancers and independent workers, founded in 2004 to advocate for people whose work is often overlooked by laws, welfare systems and public culture. It brings together self-employed professionals across sectors, helping them move beyond isolation and build collective representation. Its advocacy focuses on fair pay, equal rights, social protections and better retirement prospects.
ACTA provides practical information through its InfoPoint, covering topics such as contracts, INPS, illness, taxes and pensions. Members can also book a support appointment for specific questions or situations. The association shares research, news and guidance through its website, blog, meetings and initiatives, and invites people to support its work by joining or donating.
ACTA’s specialist sections include Redacta, which works to improve conditions in book publishing, and Tramiti, a network for translators of subtitles, video games and other multimedia texts, particularly into Italian. Through information, mutual support and collective action, ACTA seeks to strengthen the rights and working conditions of independent professionals.
