@actcolour.com
Based on a deep understanding of colours, pigments, and spatial design, and grounded in a research-based understanding of how colours affect our mental and physical health, ACT Architectural Colour Tools has developed tools and colours tailored to architects and interior designers and their work with spatial arrangements and moods. In addition to consultancy and workshops, ACT Architectural Colour Tools has developed paints in a durable and timeless colour palette created from natural pigments and traditional techniques. With sustainability in mind, we have revived paints based on century-old techniques and chemical-free bases. All of this is based on the need to think and work sustainably and environmentally consciously with colour schemes.

About ACT Colour
ACT Colour (Applied Colour Tools) is a brand that was established in 2020, with the mission of bridging the gap between colour theory and practice. Their aim is to provide logical and easily accessible colour-setting tools that enhance the understanding of colour functions and sensory effects for individuals involved in the colour-setting process.
Founded by award-winning colour and textile designer Margrethe Odgaard, along with partners Fanni Baudo and Vibeke Snedgaard Rafaelsen, ACT Colour offers a range of three colour-setting tools. These tools are accompanied by various methods and exercises, all based on Odgaard's extensive research and knowledge in the application of colour in architecture and design.
Made from natural minerals and organic pigments, ACT Colour's tools provide timeless colours that combine well together. They are not bound by trends or systems, but instead focus on the original and honest essence of colour, aiming to capture its eternal qualities.
To enhance the act of colour-setting, ACT Colour emphasizes experimentation, where colours are not only seen but also thought and sensed. The brand recognizes that colour is influenced by factors like daylight, weather, time of day, and season, and that the overall perception of a colour combination can be affected by changes in colour quantity.
