About ACTforMeningitis
ACTforMeningitis is a brand that aims to raise awareness about meningitis and provide support to those affected by the disease in Ireland. The brand was founded in 2011 by Siobhan and Noel Carroll, who tragically lost their daughter Aoibhe to meningitis at the age of 4. Through their own fundraising efforts, ACTforMeningitis has been able to offer free support services to individuals, families, and communities in 21 counties through their unique Meningitis Community Care Programme.
Whether you have experienced the loss of a loved one or are living with the long-term effects of meningitis, ACTforMeningitis provides tailored support services and therapies in every county in the Republic of Ireland, without any waiting list. They also conduct national awareness campaigns and offer free training programs to pharmacies and medical professionals.
