Acting Works

Acting Works is a training company formed exclusively by professional actors, bringing more than 10 years of experience in training and development programmes. It uses theatre techniques to help businesses strengthen interpersonal communication and performance, with activities that can also support participants’ personal development. Workshops are interactive and experiential, designed around each company’s culture, needs and specific workplace challenges.

The learning process turns concepts into practical situations, with clear objectives and group debriefing that helps participants reflect on their choices and contributions. Offerings include Forum Theatre, where participants explore and influence realistic workplace scenarios, and role-play exercises that let them practise business interactions with actor-facilitators and receive feedback. Depending on the group and programme goals, workshops may also feature improvisation, team-building exercises, storytelling and business simulations.

These activities encourage communication, listening, empathy and assertive behaviour in a supportive environment where participants can test different approaches. Acting Works works with company representatives to shape each programme and can deliver workshops at the client’s premises or suggest a suitable venue for the event and group. The company’s founders are actors, trainers and theatre practitioners
