About Action4Diabetes
Action4Diabetes (A4D) is a UK-registered charity that aims to provide health and hope to disadvantaged young individuals in South-East Asia who are living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Unfortunately, due to limited access to basic healthcare, these children are at risk of fatal consequences if left untreated. A4D is working diligently to change this by offering life-saving insulin and supplies, healthcare training, T1D education, and raising awareness.
The organization firmly believes that access to basic healthcare is a human right, and they are the only NGO providing continuous support for Type 1 Diabetes in South-East Asia for those who cannot afford it otherwise. With over 680+ young people in their care, A4D has already provided 2. 6 million+ blood glucose tests across six countries.
