About ActionAid
ActionAid Sweden is a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to creating positive change both locally and globally. With a strong focus on gender equality, one of their key areas of work is combating female genital mutilation (FGM) in Sweden. As part of the Global Festival organized by Global Bar Magazine, ActionAid Sweden will be hosting a conversation on August 23rd to shed light on their efforts in this crucial area.
Led by Aurégan Le Gal, the Project Coordinator for FGM at ActionAid, the discussion aims to raise awareness and share insights on their approach to stopping and preventing FGM in Sweden. The event will take place at Studio SN7 in Stockholm from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Global Festival itself is a five-day event (August 21st - 25th) featuring evening discussions, breakfast meetings, and lunchtime conversations, all centered around various global issues.
