Action For Nature is an international non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California that empowers young people to make a difference in their environments. We believe in fostering love and respect for nature and encourage personal action to protect our planet. Founded by Shimon Schwarzschild, our organization aims to reach young individuals with the message that they have the power to make a positive impact.

Through our International Young Eco-Hero Awards program, we recognize and celebrate children and teens who have completed projects that promote respect and affection for nature. We also offer a book called Acting for Nature which shares inspiring stories of young people who have taken personal action to help the environment. Our journey began in Assisi, Italy, where we worked tirelessly to protect songbirds from being hunted.

Today, we continue to inspire and support young people worldwide in their efforts to conserve and restore our planet's environment. Join us in our mission to nurture and protect a healthy environment for all life. You can support future eco-heroes by making a tax-deductible donation to our cause
