Active Academy is an Irish company founded by Lisa Redmond, providing active and fun fitness classes for children and adults with additional needs and disabilities. With over 20 years of experience in fitness and working with individuals with special needs, Active Academy designs exercise programs tailored to the needs and abilities of each individual. They believe in fitness for all and focus on creating functional, goal-oriented, inclusive, non-competitive, and enjoyable fitness classes.

They understand that exercise is not only about physical gains, but it also helps develop essential life skills such as mindfulness, mental health, resilience, socializing, teamwork, and more. Active Academy also works extensively with children with Autism, designing classes around their strengths and goals. They offer training programs for those working with children through sports and fitness classes for siblings of children with additional needs.
