Active Kids Physiotherapy

Active Kids Physiotherapy is a mobile paediatric physiotherapy and allied health service supporting babies and children across Brisbane. Led by experienced clinicians, including Dr Amy Leung, the team works with families to address concerns related to physical development, posture, movement, balance, neck mobility and head shape. Its approach recognises the links between brain development, emotional wellbeing and physical function, with therapy tailored to each child’s abilities, goals and everyday life.

Services are delivered in familiar settings, including homes, childcare centres, schools, parks and pools. The team provides land-based physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, limited occupational therapy services and therapy assistant-led sessions. Care may support movement development, strength, coordination, functional skills and participation in activities children enjoy. The service also offers consultations and works with eligible NDIS participants across NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed arrangements.

Active Kids Physiotherapy emphasises evidence-based, family-centred care and values compassion, respect, commitment and empowerment. Its mission is to help children grow, support families and strengthen communities, with the aim of fostering active minds, functional bodies and positive wellbeing.
