Active Rainbow is a vibrant and inclusive educational platform and community that focuses on personal growth and inclusivity. Our vision is to create a world where diversity is celebrated and embraced as a core value. We are dedicated to improving the quality of LGBT+ spectrum education and strengthening the implementation of human rights.

With a motto of Learning made simple, yet significant, we have been actively working in the field of youth work and learning programs for the past 7 years. At Active Rainbow, our objectives are clear. We support young people in their learning and personal and professional development, while providing safe and inclusive educational environments for everyone, especially the LGBTQIA+ community.

We promote youth work and the training of youth workers and educators, as well as the initiatives and activities of young people. Additionally, we offer volunteering opportunities to build young activists and social changemakers. Our dedicated team includes Cathy Manousaki, a professional youth worker and founder of the platform, Elina Primaka, a visual and graphic designer, and Anastasija Laizane, a passionate youth worker and project manager.

We also have a vibrant community of local volunteers in Latvia who contribute meaningfully to our work. Through our international community, which includes inspiring young activists from Europe and beyond, we aim to create a more inclusive and cohesive society by fostering international cooperation and cross-cultural exchange. We are proud members of the International Synergy Network, the Latvian Youth Council, and the youth-led Solidarity Network Y!? To support our activities and events, we collaborate with different funding institutions and grant programs, including the European Commission's Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, the Council of Europe, and the European Youth Foundation.
